I’m a 1.5 generation American Chinese (which I realize sounds like a type of cheese). I was born in Beijing, grew up in Texas, and like many children of immigrants, I’m fluent in code switching and living in the space between worlds.

In my career I’ve helped scale some of the most beloved consumer software products in the world at Pinterest and Dropbox. Representation and inclusion, especially in the workplace, matter deeply to me. Now, I coach leaders and founders who are mission-driven, product-focused, and human first.

As a writer, illustrator, and performer, my creative work explores identity and belonging, often through a humorous lens. My work has been published in Hyphen, Slant’d, Quartz, and by Nomadic Press.
